Description: A Dakota fob consisting of a leather medallion attached with leather thong to a leather flap that surmounts a loom-woven beadwork body with beaded fringe, circa 1900. The medallion has a spot-stitched circular pattern of blue and white seed beads. The leather flap has the letter "F" stitched with blue seed beads. The body of the fob has a blue and green woven pattern. The fob is from the Cheyenne River Reservation, South Dakota.
