Santee Dakota beaded moccasins
Description Pair of thread sewn leather moccasins. Cuff and vamp decorated with glass seed beads and black faceted beads in floral motif. Predominant colors are reds, pinks, blues, green, and clear. Vamp and toe seam are edged with red and blue plied thread. Cuff is bound with green silk ribbon. Green silk ribbon also used as tie closure Red cloth binds tongue and is added to base of cuff as a pleated edging.
