Description: Women's dance costume for "A Full Moon in March", which premiered February 10, 1951, at the Brodbeck Auditorium in Maryland. Yellow synthetic stretch knit with circular neckline and flared full-length skirt. Headpiece with corded crown and chin strap. Papier maché mask prop. Costume designer and maker, Bernice Lehman. Worn by Gertrude Lippincott of Minnesota. Lippincott was a prominent dancer, choreographer and teacher.
