Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Noel Shadduck was born 1905 in Annandale, Minnesota. He graduated from Annandale High School in 1921, attended university and law school, served in China during WWII, and practiced law in Annandale from 1946-1975. He as also a community leader and volunteer. He died March 16, 1992 at home in Clearwater Lake. He helped run a family resort as child through about 1920. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Family resort in Annandale, Minnesota - how land was acquired, how father began resort. Guests - who came, how long they stayed, where they were from, what they did. How the resort was run - chores, food produced on the farm, fishing, hired help. Advertising, other resorts, changes in the area. Nobel's life - schooling, early jobs, university, law school and war experience.
