Began photographic career in Colorado in early 1970s and moved to Minnesota in 1978. He is a film maker and photographer and has been awarded numerous grants to pursue both arts. The Minnesota Historical Society owns works by him. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: His career as a scientist, his introduction to photography and the reason he changed careers. He names photographers he admires and those who may have influenced him. Then he traces the history of his various series: senior citizens, Air Force cadets, children, county fair winners, factory interiors, and theatre.
