Turner (born in Montreal in 1867) and Robert Washington Davis (born in Virginia in 1857). The family moved to Minneapolis in the late 1890s. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Mrs. Daniels discusses family history, her father's business and recalls black community life in Alexandria (Douglas County), Fergus Falls (Otter Tail County) and Minneapolis and St. Paul in the early 1900s.
