Description BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Kramer was born in 1919 in North Dakota and grew up in South St. Paul, Minnesota. He studied art at the Mills Academy and the St. Paul School of Art, both in St. Paul, Minnesota, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, and in Europe. He opened his own gallery in St. Paul and also worked as an art conservator and appraiser. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Kramer's family, his art training and style, his work with art exhibitions and in art galleries, his work as an art conservator and appraiser, and Minnesota art and artists.
