Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: 1901-1983, born in Minneiska, Minnesota. In 1926, Russell and his brother Leil founded the Gray Company in Minneapolis. It began with the development of a grease gun for use in automobile service stations and expanded to include equipment that could handle most fluid and semi-solid materials used in industry. Russell was in charge of development and manufacturing and Leil managed the company. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: His family; interest in music; the founding of the Gray Company (Graco Inc.): its products and history, also a curative Powder X that his father discovered and attempted to market.
