Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Deborah started as a volunteer, and worked in the bookstore, wrote for BookWomen, and maintained the "Pit" (storage area) by building bookshelves and organizing things. She was a manager in a corporation prior to joining Minnesota Women's Press (MWP) in 1991. Carol worked as office manager at MWP beginning in 1990. She was involved in presentation and outreach of MWP, and actively participated in bookgroups and other events sponsored by the company. She attended Metropolitan State University, worked at the YWCA, and had four grown children. Jane joined MWP as a volunteer on the Directory in 1996. She had been a subscriber to the paper since 1988. At the time of the interview she proofed employment ads and worked on other projects such as surveys. Jane earned a master's degree in Women's Studies.
