Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Cynthia had been the editor of Minnesota Women's Press since July 1996. She had an undergraduate degree in american studies, and a master's degree in journalism and mass communications. After college, she became the editor of Equal Time, a gay/lesbian publication in the Twin Cities area. She also taught journalism at Anoka/Ramsey Community College and did freelance writing. She worked for the Catholic Church for ten years prior to graduate school. Originally from Montana, Cynthia had lived in the Twin Cities for twenty-one years. She was a Page One Award winner for editorial writing in both 1997 and 1998.
