Description BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Sheila Ahlbrand was the assistant director of the Upper Midwest Women's History Center when it was housed at Hamline University, 1995-1998. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Description of Upper Midwest Women's History Center, its place on the Hamline University campus, its projects during that period, the development of its board, the search for funding and support to maintain the facility, the closing of the Center and its legacy. She also described the respect afforded to the two Center leaders, Susan Gross and Marjorie Bingham, by those involved in the women's studies discipline.
