Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Wesley Bodin and Lee Smith developed curriculum for the World Religion project for the St. Louis Park school district. Susan Gross and Marjorie Bingham's curriculum project, Women in World Area Studies, was patterned after the men's project and received funding from similar sources. Meryll Page taught the WWAS curriculum in St. Louis Park High School and at other schools as well. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Bodin and Page describe the development of the Women in World Area Studies curriculum, its patterning after Bodin and Lee Smith's Worlds Religions project, the use of the WWAS in the classroom both at St. Louis Park and at the other schools that Page has taught at, and the respect held by themselves and others in the teaching profession for the curriculum developers, Susan Gross and Marjorie Bingham.
