Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Marilyn Bryant was a board member during the last years of operation of the Upper Midwest Women's History Center. It was her idea to host a musical tribute to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the First Woman's Rights Convention at Seneca Falls, New York. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Bryant described joining the Upper Midwest Women's History Center board during their last years of existence. She then described the Center, its place in understanding women and women's history, the board and its work and its approach to directing the Center. She discussed planning efforts for the future of the Center and described in quite a bit of detail the work that led to the musical tribute to the Seneca Falls concert in 1998. The interview ended with Mrs. Bryant talking about the future of the Center.
