Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Dr. Yvonne Condell served on the Board Directors as a member and board president of the Upper Midwest Women's History Center 1995-1998. She was a professor of biology and multidisciplinary studies at Moorhead State University for thirty years. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Connecticut and her B.S. from Florida A and M University. She was also been active in the AAUW and other community and national organizations. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Dr. Condell described the Center, her role during the eighties, development of the board for the Center when it became a separate non-profit agency, her service on the board, including the year she was president, the role of the Center and its work, her perceptions of it, the Center's closing, and its legacy.
