Description: BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: David Feil was a maintenance worker and master plumber at Itasca and other state parks starting in 1965. He owned a cabin just north of the park. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Upgrading the plumbing put in by CCC; building the paths and docks by Douglas Lodge; maintenance issues of old systems; issues with wells; some talk on electricity in the park; changes in wildlife, trails and facilities over the years; a sewer anecdote; memories on people of the park especially Jack Katzenmeyer; comments on funding for buildings; the purchase of an old saw mill.
