Description Regimental battle flag, with cord and tassels of the 12th Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment. It was carried in the Spanish-American War. The blue silk flag is embroidered and appliqued with the Minnesota state seal and, below it, a red ribbon, trimmed in gold, reading "12TH REGT. MINNESOTA VOL. INFANTRY".
