Description |
This national battle flag of the 3rd Minnesota Infantry consists of one layer of silk with 13 alternating red and white stripes and a blue canton resting on the eighth stripe from the top. The canton is decorated with 35 five-pointed stars applied with a gold leaf. The text "3d REGT. MINNESOTA INFANTRY VOLS." is printed on the seventh stripe from the top.
