Description This national battle flag of the 4th Minnesota Infantry reads "4th Regt. M.V." on the fourth red stripe, and has painted gold stars. It was probably a spring 1862 state purchase from Horstmann. See also flag staff 2007.84.32.B and cord and tassels 2007.84.32.C.
