Beaded bag

Collections items are not for sale. A photo reproduction can be purchased.

Description A small lane stitched beaded bag, possibly Dakota, with leather fringe around the round bottom of the bag, circa the mid-20th century or earlier. The body of the bag is beaded with blue, navy blue, yellow, and red beads in a geometric design, with orange beads at the opening. A single strand of gray beads served as the bag's strap, now broken on one side. The bag has blue-green paper lining inside.
