Description: Ring made from an Australian florin coin. It was made by Wendal J. Kulenkamp of Minnesota during his time serving in the Pacific Theater of World War II, circa 1945. Many servicemen produced souvenir jewelry, sometimes called "sweetheart" jewelry, during the war, often sending the trinkets home to their sweethearts as keepsakes or remembrances.
