Description: Northern Ordnance Incorporated ink blotter. Rectangular cardboard-like blotter (unused) depicts Grandpop, Brown & Bigelow's advertising chimpanzee character, on the right on a beach, sitting on a turquoise seat underneath a black umbrella white eating a banana. Behind him there are two smaller primates, one holding a log while the other cuts it. The top right corner reads, "KUTITUP / LUMBER CO" in a red box. The left side is yellow with black text that reads, " 'Winning a War Is / No 'Snap' ' / NORTHERN ORDNANCE INCORPORATED / MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA / MONEY BUSINESS IS FOR MONKEYS." The United States Navy Bureau of Ordnance logo is located in the top center of the blotter. Printed by Brown & Bigelow of St. Paul, MN.
