Description: Hand-held, cardboard-framed Comando-Scope periscope. An opening near its bottom reveals an angled mirror. Metal staples near the top and bottom hold the cardboard frame in place. Text on the exterior reads, "A GENUINE PERISCOPE for Junior Commandos. See without being seen! Whether you're a G-man on the trail, a lookout in a fox-hole, or just playing soldier, your Comando-Scope will protect you from view. Keep under cover! When you have sighted your object, bring it into the Mirror Center and--fire!"
