This photograph appeared on the front page of the St. Paul Daily News on March 22, 1933. The caption reads: "Here's a group of farmers, members of the southern district of the Minnesota Farmers' Association, on their way to the old state capitol, where they convened, prior to their march to the capitol, where they presented their relief demands to a joint session of the legislature. In the front row, left to right, are K.H. Marsh, Jackson, southern organizer for the association; Reuben Felt, Kandiyohi county chairman, and Peter Newman, Kandiyohi delegate."
