Vietnamese Community Oral History Project
|
| Description | The Vietnamese Community Oral History Project is part of the larger Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. The project was a partnership between the Minnesota Historical Society and the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans. Vietnamese Minnesotans speak about their experiences coming to Minnesota, being born in Minnesota, and living in both Vietnam and Minnesota. They discuss issues regarding their immigration, Vietnamese social life, customs, and language. All of the narrators express their hopes for themselves personally and the Vietnamese community in the future. |
