Description BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Although born in Cloquet Indian hospital in 1940, Brenda Boyd grew up and spent much of life in the Isle Ojibwe community, including going to public school in Isle (Class of '58). After graduation, she lived in Minneapolis for awhile, but in 1965, she returned to Isle, where for several years she worked for the Little Joe Manufacturing Co., a prominent fishing tackle manufacturer.
