Description: Great Northern Railway "Mountains and Flowers" cup and saucer. The white china cup has a transfer-printed motif of five-petaled pink flowers with green leaves on the outside and five-petaled yellow flowers with green leaves on the inside. The white china saucer has a transfer-printed watercolor-style motif of gray mountains and pine trees. The underside of the cup is stamped "SYRACUSE China 92-A U.S.A." The underside of the saucer is stamped "STERLING Vitrified China EAST LIVERPOOL OHIO U.S.A." and "GREAT NORTHERN RY. C-5".
