Description: Hmong story cloth illustrating Hmong New Year activities. Blue cotton/polyester fabric with cotton embroidery throughout the center panel. Appliquéd borders of blue, brown and white with a middle border of brown mountain motifs. Story cloths were made for sale by Hmong refugees in Thailand and were sold around the world. Made in Ban Vinai, Thailand, circa 1989.
