Description: Gibson Les Paul Goldtop six-string electric guitar with black nylon strap housed in a steel-reinforced transport case, used by Dan Murphy of the Minneapolis-based band Soul Asylum. Murphy purchased the guitar at Benedict Music on Lyndale Avenue, circa 1985, and it was used in recordings and performances until 2012 when Murphy left Soul Asylum.
