Description: Leaflet in support of the campaign for a Constitutional Amendment to freeze the taxation of taconite and related businesses for 25 years, which passed in 1964 with 80% approval from Minnesota voters. An envelope containing taconite pellets is stapled to the leaflet. The leaflet is printed on the front, in part: "This is TACONITE! / You have just received processed Taconite Pellets from Minnesota's famous Mesabi Iron Range." and "TACONITE / Minnesota's Rock of Opportunity" with what, where, when, why and how explained below. "WHAT ABOUT THE PROPOSED TACONITE TAX AMENDMENT?" followed by explanatory information is printed on the back.
