Titles: St. Urho bobblehead doll (Supplied title)

Description: Bobblehead doll depicting the Finnish St. Urho, a blond, bearded man, holding a grasshopper speared on a pitchfork. St. Urho is credited with driving all the grasshoppers from Finland, preserving the grape crops and thus saving all the wine in Finland. The Finnish celebration of St. Urho, a tongue-in-cheek nod to the Irish celebration of St. Patrick, was first celebrated in Minnesota in the 1950s and has since spread to Finnish communities throughout the United States and Canada.
