Description Beer faucet patented, manufactured, and sold by the Cornelius Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The faucet, patented in 1942, was the invention of company founder Richard T. Cornelius. His patent cites the novelty of a simple faucet constructed with screw machine parts that allows for easy dispensing of liquids. It has a chrome-plated spout with black-handled lever for operating the faucet.
