Titles: Minnesota State Capitol gallery chair (Supplied title)
Description: Minnesota State Capitol House Chamber gallery chair used for additional spectator seating. The chair has a curved back with diagonal supports, a round seat with a drilled star pattern, and four legs that flare out at the base. It was probably purchased after the Capitol's completion in 1905, when a need for more seating was recognized, and used through the 1950s.
