Description: Winds of Freedom weather balloon. Consists of round, very dark grey deflated weather balloon with long neck made from rubber. Used by Winds of Freedom campaign in 1951 to send messages of hope into Communist countries. Harold Stassen was apparently present when the first of these balloons was launched.
