Description |
Northwest Airlines flight attendant's uniform worn during the winter of 1965-66. Uniform consists of five components: long-sleeved jacket lined in blue taffeta (A); knee-length skirt with side zipper placket (B); short-sleeved cotton blouse with inset placket and round neckline (C); tam-style hat with stitched trim designed by Mae Hanauer of New York (D); and wool coat with raglan sleeves, pleated back, dolman belt and brown satin lining (E). |
