BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Bob Tracy has a long and distinguished career as an activist and funder in the arts, gay issues, politics and AIDS. As a founding member of the community-based alliance Arts Over AIDS, Bob has pushed the arts community to become more responsive to the needs of its employees with AIDS and to supporting art which illustrates the extent and effect of the epidemic in Minnesota. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: The Minnesota AIDS Project's first director of public policy, Tracy discusses the role of HIV in democracy and his disillusionment with national politics. |
