SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: A former Jesuit monk, Swarthout discusses the early discrimination against people with HIV in Minnesota. He discusses his efforts to provide a hopeful alternative to overwhelmingly negative messages in the media and how he helps people adjust to life with HIV infection. |
