BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Emmy Lou's daughter published her first work in the Minnesota Women's Press, and Emmy Lou had been involved since that time. She had attended book groups since 1992, including the May Sarton Group, Sunday Together Group, Reading through a Lifetime Group, and the Biography and Memoir Group. She had also attended several trips with "Book Group on the Road", including Maine, New Mexico, and England/Scotland. SUBJECTS DISCUSSED: Importance and value of book groups to her life; description of her involvement with May Sarton's work and the group related to it; trip to Sarton's home; description of book groups; Glenda Martin (co-founder and co-publisher) as a book group leader; stories about the book group trips, and the related books read; values and impact of MWP.
