Note regarding an image of Camp Release: A man in an image of Camp Release (which can be found here in the Minnesota Historical Society's photograph collections has been widely-shared online - especially at Ancestry.com - and identified as Kabupi/Joseph Coursolle with no proof or source. The man in the image has not been identified by the Minnesota Historical Society, and the earliest identification of him noticed by this writer was after this writer - in an online musing - said something about imagining Kabupi/Joseph may have looked like the man in his dress. It was only after that musing, that this writer ever saw the man identified as Kabupi/Joseph Coursolle. Unless or until proof of the identification is found, this writer would caution against identifying the man in the photo as Kabupi/Joseph Coursolle.
