Timeline

The Timeline details the series of events in the hours before, and immediately after, the lynching of three young black men — Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson, and Isaac McGhie — at the hands of an angry mob in downtown Duluth on June 15, 1920.

Listen to the audio narrative as the Timeline advances, describing the events leading up to the lynchings. View the locations of these events on the map to see where they took place.

The Timeline requires use of a Flash 6 or higher plugin.
