Sioux uprising commemorative celluloid and metal badge. Pin is gold-embossed metal with celluloid "SOUVENIR" tag in center. Blue ribbon, "40th / ANNIVERSARY / INDIAN / MASSACRE . . . . " Ribbon has disintegrated. Medal is natural-colored celluloid with brass, twisted-braid trim. Picture of New Ulm monument: "INDIAN MASSACRE MONUMENT / ERECTED BY STATE OF MINNESOTA ."
