US Model 1861 rifled musket

United States Model 1861 .58 caliber rifled musket. This musket was used during the Civil War. The musket has a full walnut stock and iron mountings, including the buttplate, three barrel bands, trigger guard and ramrod. Manufactured by the Savage Revolving Firearms Company in Middletown, Connecticut.
