Star pattern quilt /made by Emilina Bistodeau

Machine pieced, hand quilted red, white, and blue Yankee Pride pattern quilt with red binding and white backing. Backing is done en pointe. Twenty blocks with twelve tulip quilting designs between the blocks. Quilt made during the Civil War by Emelina Bistodeau, donor's great-grandmother, along with five other women. Passed down to her son Alcedas Bistodeau, then to his daughter, Cecelia Bistodeau Beaudry, then to her daughter, donor Odell Beaudry. Emelina Bistodeau was the wife of Dr. Louis Bistodeau, an early St. Anthony and Dayton, Minnesota physician.
