Pacific Islander

Pacific Islanders are the indigenous peoples of Oceana, including Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia. Minnesota is home to a small number of people with origins in Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Guam, the Mariana Islands, the Marshall Islands or Fiji. In the 2010 U.S. Census, 6,206 Minnesotans identified themselves as all or part Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.
