About the Minnesota Authors Biographies Project
The history of the book in Minnesota is a rich one; our state's literary tradition, deep. People often have question about Minnesota writers, whether great, overlooked or forgotten. With support from Art and Cultural Heritage Funding, we were able to put together this new resource for students, scholars, and readers providing quick access to introductory biographical material on local authors.
We started with a slate of 35 well known authors and, with continued funding, we will be able to add to these biographies on a ongoing basis. If you have suggestion for who you would like to see included, please let us know by dropping an email to: collections.mnhs.org.
Almost all of the titles mentioned here are available for use in the Minnesota Historical Society Library while others are available in other MNPals libraries across the state.
