Minnesota Psychiatry in the Mid-to-Late Twentieth Century Oral History Project
INTERVIEWERS: David Cline, Donald Daggett, Deane Manolis and Martin SukovThe project is a collection of interviews of psychiatrists throughout Minnesota done mostly in the 1970s by Dr. Marvin Sukov and by Drs. David Cline and Deane Manolis between 2009 and 2011. The interviews begin with recollections of the 1940s and 1950s and trace the progress of medicines, the perception of mental illness, and practice of psychiatrists in rural and urban Minnesota. The project includes a brief summary of the history of psychiatry in Minnesota and summaries of each interview.
