Titles: Electric two-slice toaster and cord (Supplied title)
Description: A two-slice, manual-turn, electric toaster with a detachable black rubber electric cord. The shiny chrome-plated toaster has triangular ends and two square toast holders on the doors that flip downward on each side of the stepped base. Centered on the inside are two side-by-side, pieced mica panels wrapped with thin metal conductors extending from top to base. There is a wire guard on each side of the panels. Each sheet metal door is ornamented with a pressed spiderweb pattern radiating from one lower corner and is flanked by two round black plastic knobs. Two metal, electric prongs extend from one end. The electric cord has a shiny black rubber casing, a two-prong wall plug at one end and a coiled wire and cased outlet at the appliance end. Circa 1930s.
