Technology Family Day

About This Event

Bring the whole family to Historic Fort Snelling for a special Family Day of learning about the latest technology of the early 1800s. 

Explore the fort, play games, do laundry by hand, and prepare dinner with the latest in 19th century kitchen technology. 

Help build with early construction techniques, send messages without electricity and early military technology. You will be able to make your own sundial and learn how to tell time with it using the sun and shadow.
